Prior to the release of 3.3 I generally played in windowed mode, but just before I downloaded the new patch I logged out in full screen. After the game patched, I logged in and attempted to switch back to windowed mode, but when I hit the "apply" button in the video options after checking the "Windowed Mode" box my World of Warcraft window disappeared completely, and I had to log back in. This has happened every time I've tried to go to windowed mode. Help?

If your settings are not saving properly, your settings folder may be locked to Read Only mode. Close the game and then find your desktop shortcut. Right-click it, then go to Properties. Look at the bottom left corner for a button that says Open File Location or Find Target, then click on it. Delete your WTF folder and then try running the game again. Log in and then try to change your settings. Exit the game and see if a new WTF folder appeared. If it did, did your settings save properly this time?
