Problem after 2.1 DL, WoW.exe corrupt

After downloading the latest patch, every time i try to launch WoW i receive this error.

This application has encountered a critical error:

ERROR #131 (0x85100083) File Corrupt
Program: C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\WoW.exe
File: .\Client.cpp
Line: 2232

I don't believe the problem lies with my computer since the problem only started immediately after downloading the patch.

Greetings Alessandra,

For the moment the Repair tool has not been updated, it should be later on today hopefully. For the moment you may simply wish to try renaming or or moving your WTF, CACHE, and INTERFACE folders out of your World of Warcraft directory.

These are temporary cache files that will be recreated by the game the next time you launch. When starting the game make sure you are using the shortcut for the game launcher and not one provided by a UI mod.

If removing the temporary files has not helped then it is likely that there is a problem with the WoW.exe file itself being corrupt. Unfortunately all I can suggest in this case is to wait for the repair utility to be updated so it can check the files for you.
