My WoW account was hacked last Friday, 6/4/2010. I got all my toons from Duskwood server deleted. I spent a lot of time and effort on these toons and tomorrow it will be a week and my toons have not been restored. I have major depression disorder and anxiety disorder. This week I have been really anxious and depress a lot because I am waiting impatiently to get my toons back so I can play with my friends. I have also been depress because I haven't been able to play with my friends. I had to go to the doctors because I been having a lot of anxiety and depression. I have documentation of this. Please blizzard all I ask is for my toons to get restored back. If I have to work on gear again I can deal with that but a toon you played for years can never be replaced. Please blizzard all I ask is for my toons to be restored so I can be happy.

I'm so sorry to hear that your account might have been compromised, and that this might be causing any upset for you. I know how anxiety provoking a compromise can be, and hopefully I can help set your mind at ease a bit.

Now, with regard to the actual character and item restoration on your account? I think that you'll be happy to know that, while no restoration is ever guaranteed, that our staff do their absolute best to help our players make as full a recovery as possible in the wake of a compromise. That means that deleted characters and items will very likely be restored, and I see no reason that your account should be an exception =).

Just so that you're aware, wait times are ranging at about a week and a half or so, so please try to remain patient until your investigation can be completed. If you can, try to relax a bit - after all, your account is in good hands.
