Pause..... but the game still runs
by Radoslawn | 07/08/2008 14:56:27![]() Evening Everyone, The one thing is that when you engage an NPC, it's a surge of data to your connection, so let's see what's going on with that. Let's first try the cliché solution first, and then post trace routes to the realm... To flush the DNS cache, go into the Terminal (Go > Utilities > Terminal) and type in the following: For Leopard (10.5): dscacheutil -flushcache - press Return For Tiger (10.4) and Panther (10.3): lookupd -flushcache - press Return ( The system will not give any type of acknowledgment after you run the command. ) Try the game after performing these commands. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 1. log into the game 2. put it in window mode Command + M 3. go to Mac HD=>Applications=>Utilities=>Terminal 4. at cursor type netstat -n 5. look for the first Foreign Address that contains .3724 6. type traceroute ( IP address that appears before the .3724) > ~/Desktop/tracert.txt and press the Return key. A file will be created on your Desktop called tracert.txt that contains your trace route information 7. quit the Terminal application, open the file created and copy/paste the text to your reply Let me know how I'm doing... https://www.surveymk.com/s.aspx?sm=OXrtw1WfuVlU_2fd_2bJQf0JSg_3d_3d |
