Password invalid on the 3rd login?
by Brajao | 12/12/2007 02:42:07 Ok I am trying to get in the PTR. I downloaded the client, no problems. I login again no problems. I download a 3.15mb update no problem. I have to login again, ok (getting frustrated) again no problems. It downloads another update thats about 3mb and I repeat this process about 4 times and then finally on that forth time i put in my password it says (password invalid or username invalid ??) What?? the first 3 times the password is acceptable but now no? Someone please explain to me why this is? BTW, I can get into my account on these forums as well as WoW. So why not PTR? by Hortus | 12/12/2007 18:27:09 As others have said, the client version is checked and updated before the account, so you do not need a valid login to get the latest patch. If you password has changed recently it will not be reflected on the PTR, you may be able to access the PTR using an old password, but there is no guarantee. If you can not log into the PTR with any password then you will have to wait until the next time the PTR authentication server is updated, which will not be until sometime after 2.3.2 |
