(Started a new thread, my previous one got way offtrack and confusing)

My paid transfer timer is up as of today. Actually, last night at about 11:00 CST, the option to move my character became available. Of course, when I try, I get this message:

I assume this is because my transfer is technically available today, but I know the timer is to the exact second so it will probably work later. So my first question is, any clue on when that might be?

My 2nd, and potentially ominous question, is whether a name change is going to cause issues with my timer. I changed my name about 2 weeks *after* I transferred, and I have some fear that its going to cause me issues when I try to transfer back. I'd love a bit of assurance that won't be the case!

This character will be eligible for transfer in just under two and a half hours. To be as exact as possible, your character may transfer at 17:00 GMT / 9:00 AM PST -- give or take a few minutes. :)

Oh got it. I don't think name change affects transfer. You'll have to wait until the transfer timer is up (to the second) before you can move him. It's probably not up yet.

As may be apparent, character name changes do not affect character transfer cooldowns. :)
