Is SC2 like WoW?

I don't want this to sound demeaning, Plytor, but was that a serious question? I'll answer it earnestly, if it was, I just want to make sure you are not being silly. :0P

My questions are always serious turtle friend ^_^

Hehe.

If you mean is SCII like an MMORPG? No. It is not. It is a Real Time Strategy game (RTS) in which you control a specific faction, build units and expand on your base, gather resources and defeat the enemy forces. You can play against the computer or other people, you can also play single or multiplayer.

Also did the Turtle just evolve into a centaur? ^_^

Nope, but the Turtle went home so I figured I would answer.

Now I have to think of what to make for a potluck tomorrow. O.o

Heh, thanks, Alvraen. I'm going to make an entree since the majority of a pot luck ends up consisting of a ton of store bought party platters. :D

30+ at the moment.

The problem is with heating... ah what to do what to do.

Whats a potluck?

It's when a bunch of people get together each bringing a dish to share.

Q u o t e:
You can never beat a good frito pie. Depending on how many you are feeding, several cans of wolf brand chili (none of that fake brand stuff that dont even taste like real chili), about 3 large bags of real fritos, 3 large jars of queso sauce, some shredded cheddar to cover the top and 2 large yellow onions diced up small sprinkled thouughout. Start by layering a thin layer of chili across the bottom of the dish, followed by fritos then queso then more chili and onions. Well, you get the picture. more ingredients or less depending on how many you wish to feed.

Ye gods. Cans of this, bags of that... never been my style of cooking. I think I have an idea now.

Oddly enough a frito pie does sound really good. Probably not very good for you, but one of those guilty pleasures.

Chips and dip?

I'm thinking an Asian Beef or maybe Chicken Lettuce Wrap. Takes minimal reheating and travels well.

I made banana nut muffins, which were sugar free and fat free, but, they were all gone before I got hungry.

either my family and the two kids I watch were starving, or they tasted pretty good.

/sigh

Don't you hate it when your family swoops in and takes all the goodies before you get there? I know I do. ;)

Good morning, everyone!

Things are busy, but good. I have a lot of things going on right now, so it's been a bit hectic.

Hey everyone.

I noticed we're missing a couple of stickies, but now I see that the issue with pet and mount redemption has been fixed. =)

Yep! Just a little summer clean-up. The other stickies were over a month old and gathering dust. :)

So Vrak, what did you end up taking to the pot-luck today? And Auryk, did you go and what did you take as well?

He made these amazing lettuce wraps, or rather he brought all the materials to make the wraps. They were nomelicious!

<3 I'm glad everyone liked them. I made a ton!

Q u o t e:

Share recipe?

Of course. :)

Asian Beef Lettuce Wraps.

1 pound ground beef
1 small can of water chestnuts (sliced or whole doesn't matter), chop them up.
2 inch piece of ginger root, finely grated
2-3 scallions, chopped
2 cloves of garlic, minced
3 TBL soy sauce
1-2 teaspoons red pepper flaks
1/3 cup of hoisin sauce
1/4 peanuts (chopped)
Bean Sprouts (handful or two)
3 Carrots (peeled).

Add a little olive oil to the pain and brown the meat. Once browned add the ginger, scallions, garlic, soy sauce, red peppers, hoisin and chestnuts. Cook for a couple of minutes then remove from heat.

You can stir in the peanuts though I left them on the side so people with allergies weren't at risk. :)

For the carrots once you remove the outer skin use a vegetable peeler to create 3-5 inch strips of carrot.

Then take some leaf lettuce, I used Iceberg since it is easiest to find. Separate the leaves from the head of lettuce. That's it, just scoop up some meat into the lettuce cup and add sprouts, carrot and some peanuts.

You can use ground chicken or turkey instead of beef if you wish, though it tends to taste a bit dry, just add more soy and hoisin sauce.

Ok so talked to the doctor and we decieded that Chantrix was the rout to go. The cold turkey thing was not going to work out in the long run and it was making me irritable and my concentration was lacking. So Chantrix starting today...

Vrakthris can I offer you some bug repellent? I would think those flies would have been gone by now.

Ah, Arstan, you know so little of Centaurian lore. That is okay, not many Azerothian scholars care to study the clans of centaurs that exist in the plains and mountain regions.

These flies are our companions, they are our ever faithful friends that stay with us for most of our life. How you ask? Since most flies are so short lived? Well they are a special breed of fly, they exist in a symbiotic relationship with the Centaur they are bonded to.

We give them sugar and honey and they continually serenade us with a symphony buzzing melodies. :D
