Oh, I fully support this idea!

I love Depp but for me Doctor Who has always been something that is iconic British, to Americanize it is like making Bangers and Mash with hotdogs and instant mash potatoes. Granted Russell T. Davies for me has been a god amongst writers for Doctor Who so I have faith he'll do it justice and treat the movie with the same respect he did the series but I'm still a bit apprehensive.
