Oh wow, I hadn't read this yet.

"Agreement of a group of people does nothing to increase the merit of the request/demand, it simply generates more posts on the topic."

Interesting. So I was right. The devs don't really make design choices based on anything we say here.

This also highlights how decisions made on the classes we play is in no way democratic. It doesn't matter much what we say here (other than the notion that making too much noise is a bad thing).

Cute.

Why am I reminded of Sony?

Way to jump to grossly inaccurate conclusions. Or to twist my words, whichever you care to pick.

That isn't even close to what I said, nor can it even be reasonably inferred.

In this statement, you are correct. This is not a democracy. It is a business. While input can come from a number of sources, decisions ultimately rest with the developers.

Again, you are swapping the idea of 'what we say' with the idea of 'how we say it'. The two should not be so easily glazed over as to think they are the same thing.

Possibly because people make a lot of pat statments without many qualifiers and some folks buy it hook, line and sinker. Gross generalizations are food for sheep.
