Oh thank you blizzard so much!!
| by Fiddlestick | 21/12/2006 07:07:55 From Blizzard - "Speaking of PvP, we're also hard at work on our team-balancing feature for the battlegrounds. This feature won't be ready for this next content patch, but will be added in a patch sometime after the expansion launches. Team balancing will help ensure that the teams facing each other in each of the game’s battlegrounds will be as evenly matched as possible." THANK GOD, FINALLY!! I don't mind losing, I really don't. But I atleast like the game to be somewhat competive. Pug vs Pug is actually quite fun for me. But premade vs pug is just ridiculous. Losing Warsong in 5 minutes? Losing AB 10 to 2000? That obviously isn't fun for the pug, and I imagine the premades must get bored after awhile. I am in a PvE guild. We sometimes get a group together after the raids are done, but for the most part I'm pugging. It will be great to see the fun put back into PvP again for the casual PvP'er. One note, there is no need to go overboard with this blizzard please. You don't need to start matching gear or hk's or anything like that. Just please limit the amount of people from the same server joining the same bg. Arena's are MADE for premades, bg's are not. That is the only change that is needed. Blizzard, thank you again, You can't beliveve how happy I was to read this. I look forward to these changes in the future. |

The matching system is actually intended to also take into account grouping as players queue for a battleground. I'm not aware of where development stands on the system as it is right now, but as far as I'm aware the intent is still to base matching off of gear and group. |
