Could you give us a run down of how suggestions are passed a long to the hunter dev team? Frankly I'm convinced that they don't know whats going on and If I am going to be testing this software for you guys I would like to think that any suggestion I make in the future will be actually taken to heart. Otherwise I honestly don't see the point. Some folks here are legitimately interesting in making the hunter class a much more enjoyable experience for your subscribers but without communication then I don't see how that is going to work. A lot of guys/gals on these forums have logged more hours on their hunter toons then then the developers have working on the class. There are a lot of good ideas floating around here, why do I feel like that is all they are doing?

My constructive feedback is simply this: Listen

The Development Team is constantly looking for clear, concise, and constructive posts that take the time to give their feedback on experiences in the beta with specific class (or game) mechanics.

Ghostcrawler has a post on the General forums with some information on why all these changes were made given that they affected so many classes at once.

I can not stress enough how very important continued constructive posting is to the developers. While they may not be able to respond as much as people feel they would like, it does not mean that they aren't paying attention to what is being said.

The more posts that are created that do NOT contain constructive feedback, the harder it is for them to seek out and find the constructive and well-thought out posts. This is why you will see threads locked or removed, is to clear the way for those that are invested in their class and providing the kind of feedback the Development Team is looking for.

Keep in mind, we are listening. The developers just may not be talking, but not seeing them does not mean they aren't listening and reading what is being said. Also keep in mind, that they may not agree with your ideas. That doesn't mean they aren't listening either. It just means that they are seeing things needing to go in a different direction than you do.

So what happens when a dev decision goes against basically every single veteran, experienced, high end, professional, hunter class player?

A good example of this is deterrence, everyone said it needed upgraded, and when it was upgraded no one said it was over powered and yet it was changed. That makes exactly no sense and leaves us all going "WTF" It's almost like some things were thrown in a bingo tumbler and whatever popped out was changed for no reason.

If there were people saying wow the net deterrence was OP then a change would make some sense but that wasn't the case. It's changes like this that cause people to sit there /face palmed.

If the developers make a different decision that you don't feel is the best one, ,you continue to provide clear, concise, and constructive feedback even if the change goes to live. Given that this is an MMORPG, things can and will be changed whenever changes are seen as being necessary and good for the game as a whole. Given that we are in beta at current, this is the most important time to be providing your feedback.

If you've noticed, both Koraa and Ghostcrawler have stated that things have been adjusted up and down and can very well get more adjustments before long again. We're not done yet and even should we be "done" and release changes to live, things can continue to change even after that. Remember during TBC, there were additional changes made once things were live because live results and numbers started showing the need for further changes. Despite what some may believe, we don't stop working on things, reading feedback, watching results of changes, or considering further changes, just because something is on the live realms. The game must continue to evolve and progress and for that, change must occur and can occur at any stage. There just happens to be times in which change is easier to have happen than others. :)
