Mistake on mailing?
by Pavonum | 03/05/2007 09:29:28![]() The previous posters are more or less correct, Eatenalive; disclosing the name of the character to whom the item was inadvertently sent could well encourage harassment in the form of demands that the mail be returned or otherwise recompensed. In short, you relinquished possession of the item as soon as it was mailed off your character, and the recipient is well within his or her rights to keep the mail, although naturally the decision may be made on that player's part to redress your error and return the item. In the future, I would advise exercising greater caution. As a note, it looks as though the auto-complete feature may have been the culprit; you would be well-served checking your Guild Roster and Friends List for characters who have similar names (or at least begin with the same letter as the intended recipient), to see whether the item was sent to them. Good luck to you in your search, and please let me know if you require any further clarification. I'll be here most of the evening. :) |

As a general rule, the Game Master Department does not involve itself on this level of player interaction; thus, no such message may be sent. :) |
