I had an issue posted in the support forum and was told by Davidhc to post my problem here in the bug forum. Here is the post from the support forum:

Memory Leak...causing wow to be unplayable

The problem I am having is wow will start out using, what I would consier a normal amount of memory utilization (around 800MB total system memory used) and after a few hours of play time, the memory utilization will have grown to over 2GB ( i only have 2GB of physical memory) until the pagefile is being used to suppliment the system memory. This slows everything to a crawl. Upon exiting the game, my total system memory used drops to around 1.5 GB or so but wow doesn't let go of all the memory that it gobbled up. Looking at the processes tab in task manager, there is not 1.5GB of memory being used by the active processes eventhough the performance tab in task manager still says that 1.5GB of memory is being used. Needless to say, I have to reboot the PC to clean it up. Davidhc already had me move my interface, WTF, and cache folders out of the wow folder and run the game on the stock interface. This did not help. I did notice that by alt-tabbing in and out of the game, I can greatly accelerate this problem's ability to show its face. Others that responded to my original thread said they were not alt-tabbing and still were having the same issue. Any help is greatly appreciated.
