Meaningful Feedback on Talent Tree Changes

Magistrate

To whom it may concern,

The three main reasons my wife and I play World of Warcraft are: the lore, the customization, and environment. There are many other reasons we enjoy the game, but those three are the deal-makers or deal-breakers. We've endured and enjoyed talent changes, and spell changes. We've re-geared and re-learned how to play our characters on multiple occasions. The lore, customization and environment have been the things that keep us enjoying the game.

My first impression of the talent changes is that the customization aspect is going away. Being forced to choose one talent tree over another makes me feel like I'm selecting which cookie cutter I'm going to use. When I choose Protection with a PvE focus as a Paladin, then I'll be just like every other PVE Protection Paladin.

I don't want to be the same as every other player. I don't want to be a member of Elitist Jerks. I don't want to look like everyone else.

Sincerely,

Me.
