Today I noticed that when playing AV, all the players AOE spells were larger then they should be. I have no idea how this happened or why, but it is causing massive lag.

Is there a way I can fix it?

Spell effects, at least the size and quality, are something you can't really control unless you use an addon like wow++ or manually entered in settings to boost it beyond the game's sliders. Did you do anything like that? In any case, you're looking at either a complete UI removal in hoping that you can remove it or you may have to reset everything server-side in hopes of it clearing up. Run the game's repair utility (inside the WoW folder) and have it just reset your configurations. If that doesn't work, you'll want to run it again but make sure all 3 checkboxes are checked and then reset those. Once it's done, go to the login screen and then click Options -> Reset UI.
