by Worgeffect | 11/05/2010 00:06:29![]() Cataclysm additions/changes in bold and underlined Debuffs: Armor Debuff (Major): Scorpid Venom (Hunter), Expose Armor, Sunder Armor, Fairie Fire Bleed Damage Increase Debuff: Mangle, Trauma, Hemo, Hyenas (weaker than player debuffs) Spell Critical Strike Chance Debuff: Improved Scorch, Winter's Chill, Improved Shadowbolt Melee Attack Speed Slow Debuff: Icy Touch, Infected Wounds, Judgements of the Just, Thunderclap, Earth Shock (TC and ES are -20% at base now; TC got it's duration lowered to 10 seconds) Increased Spell Damage Taken Debuff: Ebon Plaguebringer, Earth and Moon, Curse of the Elements, Master Poisoner, Wind Serpents (weaker than player debuffs) Physical Vulnerability Debuff: Blood Frenzy, Savage Combat, Brittle Bones (Frost DK talent), Ravagers (weaker than player debuffs) Healing Debuff: Wound Poison, Mortal Strike, Widow Venom (Hunter replaces Aimed Shot), Furious Attacks, Shadow Priest and Frost Mage thingies. All reduce to 25% less healing taken Physical Damage Reduction Debuff: Demoralizing Roar, Curse of Weakness, Demoralizing Shout, Vindication, Hemorrhagic Fever (change from -AP to a flat -10% physical damage done) Chance on Hit Heal Restore Buff: Judgement of Light (it got renamed, but it is the same functionality) Cast Speed Slow: Curse of Tongues, Slow, Mind-numbing Poison, Viper Venom Buffs: Melee Haste Buff: Improved Icy Talons, Windfury Totem, - Will now only increase your auto-attack speed without increasining your resource gain (Energy, RP etc) except possibly Rage due to how Warriors gain it. Melee AND Spell Critical Strike Chance Buff: Leader of the Pack (the heal is now Druid only), Rampage, Moonkin Aura, Honor among Thieves, Elemental Oath - (Melee and Spell crit buffs got merged) Attack Power Buff (Multiplier): Abomination's Might, Trueshot Aura, Unleashed Rage, Blessing of Might Spell Haste Buff: Wrath of Air Totem, Improved Moonkin Form, Shadow Priest talent (NYI) Increased Spell Power Buff: Flametongue Totem, Totem of Wrath, Demonic Pact Percentage Damage Increase: Ferocious Inspiration, Sanctified Retribution, Arcane Empowerment Stat Multiplier Buff: Blessing of Kings, Mark of the Wild (both buffs reduced to +5% and it does not increase the Spirit stat anymore; in addition to this it now gives +resistances (+214 @82, scales with level)) Agility and Strength Buff: Strength of Earth Totem, Horn of Winter, Battle Shout Stamina Buff: Power Word: Fortitude, Commanding Shout, Blood Pact Intellect Buff: Arcane Intellect, Fel Intelligence (both changed to mana instead of +int) Damage Reduction Percentage Buff: Renewed Hope, Possibly a Resto Druid talent Physical Damage Reduction Buff: Inspiration, Ancestral Healing 1UPs: Rebirth, Soul Stone, Ankh Major Haste Buff: Bloodlust, Magelust Armor Buff (Flat): Stoneskin Totem, Devotion Aura (fixed to not stack anymore) Nature Resistance: Aspect of the Wild, Resistance Totem Shadow Resistance: Resistance Aura, Shadow Protection Frost Resistance: Resistance Aura, Resistance Totem Fire Resistance: Resistance Aura, Resistance Totem Spell Pushback Reduction: Concentration Aura Mana Restoration Buff: Innervate (now restores up to 33% of Druid's max mana (not base) to the target making it effectively useless for Ferals), Mana Tide Totem, Hymn of Hope (these should all stack with each other) [ Post edited by Worgeffect ] Tanks look here! This category is going away.
It's actually just melee attack speed since haste provides resources for melee specs and is hence much more powerful.
We might add a Subtlety buff here as well.
Improved Moonkin Form and a not-yet-implemented Shadow talent.
Adding Fire.
Arcane Empowerment.
Did you mean Renewed Hope? Grace is priest only. Also considering adding a Resto druid talent here.

Yes. Nothing should improve those buffs / debuffs except for gaining levels. Also, we added the 4% physical vulnerability debuff (like Blood Frenzy) to Frost DKs. We are strongly considering having Kings and Mark provide some small amount of resistance so there isn't such a delta between having resistance buffs or not. We are also considering (though it's less solid) making Soulstones work more like Rebirth -- you could essentially stone someone after they died and let them rez themselves -- in addition to the way they work currently. That way there would be two classes with battle rez, and we could go with the model of one per fight (maybe more in 25) rather than a long duration. Ghostcrawler Lead Systems Designer |
