Any aoe ability like distract, flamestrike, flare, etc are seriously bugged in the mana tombs, by bugged i mean at many areas it seems like there are invisible walls in front of you, sometimes it tries to project the ability against non-interactive transparent elements within the instance like the many misty purple animations that move throughout the instance...

I have experienced that in Mana Tombs when I try to toss bombs. These are clipping issues and should be reported in the Bugs forum - http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/board.html?sid=1&forumId=10023
If you know the location, posting it would help them research it.

UIs cannot interact with the game in that manner. If it did, I'd try to find one for those clear floors in Tempest Keep instances. :)
