Macbook Pro Question

I am in the market for buying the latest 17" Macbook Pro as an upgrade for my older Macbook. I have been looking at the upgrades and I am thinking about upgrading the Intel Core 2 Duo processor speed from 2.8 GHz to 3.06 GHz. My question is, will my performance in World of Warcraft increase enough to justify the extra $270 dollars for the increased processor speed?

What is going to increase your performance more noticeably will be RAM. The more RAM you can afford, the happier you'll be. 4GB seems to be the sweet spot.

The Universe is already insane. Anything else would be redundant.

Hello Hayzoos,

Hopefully it's not too late, try using smcFanControl to monitor your fan speeds.
