Hey there, I'm trying to put WoW on my mother's MacBook and after download the installer from battle.net's manage game menu and try to run it, it states that it cannot create files for the downloader and requests i try again. I have no idea what this means as I normally use a PC, whose hard drive is dead now. Thank you for reading!

Are you trying to download the Original WoW, BC or the WotLK installer ?

Also what is the exact error message ?

And are you on an admin user ?

And one last thing, does her Mac have any 3rd party security programs ?

Is normal user = admin user ? To make sure go into the Apple menu => System Preferences => Accounts and on the left side where your user appears it would say under the name of the user as to what the designation is.

You need admin permissions to download and install the game.
