Love an explanation.
by Unstopbubble | 27/06/2010 20:54:28![]() So i submitted a ticket about a week ago, maybe a just over. I got the email today and it stated that they couldn't find ANYTHING wrong/missing/stolen etc etc. with my account. I would love to know how you miss around 15,000 gold stolen, and all my Paladins gear disenchanted with tons of stuff taken out of the bank on multiple toons. The only problem i can see is that it could have happend anywhere from Jan 1st - begining of June, due to the fact that i was in a car accident and in the hospital for months. Hence the reason i was inactive so long, but i specifically asked the GM i talked to and explained the situation and he said it was NO problem at all. So now i assume i have to re-do all this crap all over again and wait another week to 2 weeks? So i ask, how the hell do you guys miss that? |

Indeed, and when you do, please include that May date. While investigations are thorough, if the time frame during which a compromise might have taken place is extensive, then it's possible that information may have been missed. These investigations are hardly automatic, and in fact, they're amongst the most in-depth, complex and difficult services we offer our players. It's also worth noting that the compromise may have taken place within a different time frame. While we do our utmost to help, restoration is never guaranteed and elapsed time can play a significant role in whether restoration is possible =/. Good luck! I hope we're able to lend a hand. Just to clarify, the only login I can locate prior to May occurred in January =/. So, it's possible (though hopefully not the case) that this occurred substantially more than two months ago. “No snowflake in an avalanche ever feels responsible.” - Voltaire |
