Looking For Information about Permaban.
by Kambi | 22/06/2007 10:34:34![]() I'm trying to find out any information i can on a permanent banning involving "the manipulation of the WoW economy". A friend that i work with received a 3 day suspension for this vague reason, and then a permanent ban the day after his suspension was over. The thing is, he is new to the game, level 30, has about 60g, and has no idea what is going on. He has sent emails after both incidents to gain some insight but has yet to receive any response. So I'm wondering what are some possible, realistic, reasons that could end with a suspension and banning for "the manipulation of the WoW economy" by someone so low level, with hardly any gold, in a game where a mount can cost 5000g? I just don't see how he can make nearly any impact at all on the economy at such a low level. He doesn't use any mods or run any third party programs. He hasn't bought gold from the internet or received gold from anyone at all. Just trying to find any information i can to help him out. thanks in advance. P.S. I'm not interested in any "your friend is lying, blizzard is never wrong" responses. I'm just trying to find some answers from a Blue or anyone else that might have any ideas. thanks again. |
