My account is authorized to play lich king, I have it on my laptop at home, recently I was admitted to Mass General Hospital and I'm using this mac. World of Warcraft downloaded however Lich King won't seem to download? It says I am un-authorized, and then the download stops at around 70-75%, I have tried un-installing it numerous times and trying again, but nothing seems to work. Whenever I download the universal client for Litch King it says " enter CD key " then i click " ok " ( even though i dont have one? ) or exit the box and the system error comes up, thus not letting me download. Someone please help, i've been at this for days.

So the first thing is, is that you are at a hospital, which will have a security system on it's internet and a limited access connection. Basically we can't trust it to work with our games or our downloads.

And on top of that we have old WoW data that the WotLK (all inclusive installer) is trying to replace.

Ask someone there if they can get you a higher access connection. And uninstall the old data and use the WotLK installer to install all three versions of the game in one take.

Since the installer is asking for a CD-key, which a downloaded installer will never do normally, we can also surmise that the data is corrupted.

Yep a few posts about that, here's what I came up with...

- go to your Mac HD => Users => Shared and delete the Blizzard folder and now run InstallWoW.app to see if you can get the game installed.

My pleasure sir. I am working with the developers to see how we can get the installer to not have to bother with that step, so hopefully something will come soon, but that seems to be a good band-aid solution, hehe.
