You know how parents really want to trust their kids, right? Well, I merged both my and my younger son's accounts onto one battle.net account because he didn't have an e-mail address. I really thought he was smart enough (or at least scared enough of my wrath) to not give into those site invites from gold sellers. Boy, was I wrong. He didn't buy anything and I'm not sure exactly which site he went to, but regardless, our account got hacked. He no longer has access to his account as I have changed the PW and added an authenticator.

I'm so grateful to Blizzard for their understanding and help with getting our guild back together and all of my characters' stuff, too. They did it all in less than 2 weeks. As far as I can tell, it's all there, too.

Don't be too hard on him - he may have just fallen for a phishing scam. I'm very glad that we were able to help you recover your account though, and that everything appears to be secure again.
