Is it wrong to yell at your cat?

I verbally abuse my pet in front of other players, the alliance, and group mates. But,is there any other way to deal with a cat who is trying to intimidate you/turn on you?

Sadly, I wondered the same thing at first. The only difference was that I still imagined a very large Orc behind the abuse. All I know is what I saw in my head made me sad...
