I don't get the lack of Blizzard communication sometimes. Yes, I get that they answer fluff topics, because they're human too. Yes, I get that they can't answer the really specific questions because they may not be privy to that knowledge.

But it's the day before a potential patch day. There's all kinds of random speculation. "The background downloader finished! It must be patching! The servers are down for maintenance, it must be patching! The PTR stopped accepting character copies, it must be patching!"

It's a simple question, and you must be seeing all the wild speculation. Can't you just tell us yes or no, is today patch day?

No. Wait, I mean yes. Yes, no. Maybe.

Sorry, it's been a tad busy this morning but no, there is no patch today. The downloader is doing its job though to start getting people the content, so that when the patch is released, everyone will have most of the files.
