If I'm alliance, and I just so happen to be on vent with a horde friend that needs some marks in hellfire...is it against the rules for me to let him kill me over and over to get the marks?
I buy parts for my car that I don't need, with money I don't have, to impress people I don't know.

This is something that's best not attempted. This type of scenario is very similar to win collusion in the Battlegrounds or Arenas, where a team will purposefully win or lose a match in coordination with the opposing team.

Your friend stands to gain something by circumventing the intended mechanics of the game and repeatedly kill you without fear of you retaliating. This can be considered an abuse of game mechanics, as is win collusion, which can result in negative actions taken against your account.

AFK behavior in Alterac Vally is not allowed either:

While thats true Batta, and I dont want to find a loophole, clearly you guys cannot forbide us to fight naked, or run to the enemy to let ourselves get killed.

I'm simply saying the very act of allowing a friend to repeatedly kill a player for marks is technically an abuse of game mechanics, and, if verified, could result in account penalties.
