Is blizz working on getting rid of spammers?

Its getting way out of controll. sometimes 3 in a row. then a few mins later another.
Why has this suddently become so bad?

Yes we can report them ASAP, but by the time they get the petition, the person has deleted the "ertrfg" character.

Can GMs even detect who created that character x minutes ago?
Is that enough to even ban the spammer?
Is there any type of answer to what Blizz is planning to do to get rid of the problem>?

Reporting them every 2 minutes is a little much. Its really become annoying.
