IRL Snakes
by Anitora | 23/04/2007 19:58:26 I know this prob aint the place, but I'm looking for an experianced snake owner. I just purchased last week a red tail boa from the local pet shop. I put him in a 50 gallon tank with a basking lamp and heat pad and keep the basking sie of his cage around 80-85 however he never goes to the basking side and is always on the far other side of the cage and is becoming very cold to the touch. I'm worried he is not suffeciantly heating himself. Also upon close inspection some of his scales are becoming pingmented a pink or light red color down the sides of his head and a few centimeters back down his body, it does not look natural. Any help would be greatly appreciated. [ Post edited by Anitora ] |
