We’re not planning to allow flight form to be cast while in combat. The main use of flight form will be for travel, and it gives druids a head start on their entry into the realm of flight, as it’s obtained at level 68 while everyone else will have to wait until level 70. It will still allow for some amount of escape potential if used preemptively or after using travel form to gain enough distance, but we purposefully want to avoid some of the griefing uses already being discussed. We think that once you get into Outland and try it you’ll see the various uses and have fun with it; we just aren’t intending it to play a part in combat situations.
