In-Game Mail

So...I have seen people ask about the names of people they sent/received mail to/from, and I know GMs can't give out that information for privacy reasons. I have to ask, though...Someone bought a large prismatic shard from me and overpaid me by 100g (They accidentally mistyped a 0 on the end of a bid). They sent me an in-game mail asking if I could return some of it, and I would be more than happy to do so. I accidentally deleted both that mail and the auction mail, and so I have no record of that name. I will know it when I see it, I'm sure, but scanning a list of all characters on the realm is not really a good way to do it. The person wasn't on my friend list, either, so trying each letter there isn't really workable either.

Since I'm more than willing to give the gold back, but GMs can't give me the name...I'd like to know if it's possible for a GM to just move 100g from that character of mine to the character that bought the auction. I don't ever need to know who gets it. If it is possible, I'll send an in-game ticket and ask an in-game GM to try it.

Quick edit for the character name/realm that sold the auction:
