I'm currently leveling my priest from 60-70 (I just started playing TBC about one week ago). I have played my priest quite a bit as Holy/Disc in the pre-expansion. I respecced to Shadow for obvious leveling reasons.
But my question for the Devs is: Is the Holy/Disc build going to remain the way it is or did they decide to do the major HP buff after they finished the healing spells. And are they going to catch the healing spells up with the HP buff? I loved my Holy/Disc build and don't really like being a DPSer, but currently shadow priests are in higher demand on my server. I have not raided or even done any dungeons at 70 yet, but my cousin and my brother both tell me that Paladins are the primary healers. I have noticed very slight increases in healing with the new ranks of healing spells (i.e. I just got Renew Rank 11 which heals for 5 HP more a tick than Rank 10. and that is with +200 healing). But the HP increases are massive.
I would honestly really like to respec back to Holy/Disc when I hit 70 but I like being needed in groups. And I mean this in all honesty, CMs, can you ask the devs if they are going to leave healing spells the way they are or are they going to scale them with HP increases?
Players, please do not turn this into a "Buff Priests" post. I simply am wondering if this is intentional or not. If this is intentional than I will stay shadow and not very much is lost. |
