If your account gets banned
by Freddy | 08/07/2008 07:23:51 My main characters account got banned. I don't know why so I'm trying to email and blizz and find out but I didn't get a response. I have never bought or sold gold, I am the original and only owner of the account, and can't think of anything I would have done to got banned off the top of my head. Once the account gets banned, is there anyway to get it back? I realize blizz owns the right to the account, however I worked really hard for my main character and its tough to just see it all go to waste. I rerolled, but it's not the same. Anybody have any tips or experiences with an issue like this? It would be much appreciated, seriously. Thanks. |

Freddy, we do not ban accounts out of the blue. I you are positive you've done nothing to break our terms of use - someone else on your account may have. First - I'd recommend you do a very thorough security sweep of your system. This sticky may prove handy for you. Security _____Computer Security Recommendations  Next you want to contact our Account Administration department at wowaccountadmin@blizzard.com. If you do find a security breach, I'd also highly recommend changing your email password as well as anything else sensitive you may have done on that system - banking, credit cards, etc. Best of luck. Character is doing the right thing when nobody's looking. There are too many people who think that the only thing that's right is to get by, and the only thing that's wrong is to get caught. |
