I was robbed by blizzard!

Qel

So blizzard releases a patch that dramatically increases the system requirements to run WoW halfway through the subscription period with absolutely NO mention of this.

This leaves a ton of players who can no longer play WoW until;
A: They buy a new computer
B: They upgrade their current computer

This is simple extortion by blizzard. Now myself as well as many other gamers who have paid for a month of service can no longer access it.

This would be the equivalent of paying for a movie and halfway through the theater tells you that they are dropping a big black curtain between the front seats and the back seats and only the seats in the front will be able to view the end of the movie, however they tell you that you can upgrade your ticket and move to the front for a set amount of money.

Seriously if your gonna implement a new patch with new system requirements either
A: Give us some advance warning
or
B: Do it at the end of the month

Thanks Blizzard you have robbed me as well as many other gamers!

Now I know a lot of you trolls are gonna say
"Oh just go upgrade or buy a new computer"
"Why are you playing on such a crappy computer"

Well it takes a while to either upgrade your computer or buy a new one, its not an impulse purchase believe it or not. So even if I do get a new computer I still will have lost weeks of subscription time.

So all of you gamers that have been Robbed and screwed royally by blizzard sound off against this injustice!
On the subject of warlocks not being overpowerd in pvp.

Lol... sounds to me like someone needs to elaborate the rock, paper, scissors... sledge hammer concept to the OP.

Q u o t e:
I'm going to take a guess that our original poster is complaining because his unsupported computer stopped being able to run WoW with 2.1, at least from the posts over in Tech Support about it.
While Blizzard is being more than generous about the issue (see the sticky post here: Error 132s and Unsupported Graphics Cards )
.... unsupported means, by definition, that Blizzard does not guarantee the game will run.

Thanks Faiz, it looks like there's a workaround that should work even for unsupported cards.

You don't need DirectX 10, we haven't changed any of the requirements, it just looks like there's an issue with cards that have to use a specific low-quality visual setting.

This issue is being discussed in the Technical Support department, and so I'm going to lock this thread in the hopes that you receive the assistance and/or carry on discussions of this issue in the proper place.
