I *think* I just saw an account get harvested

Posting from the character that has the ticket open right now.

I think I just saw this guy's account being harvested. Walked into the bank with nothing equipped except for items that had absolutely no vendor value (epic pvp gear). He targetted a level 1 character from a guild that appeared to have no members over level 10, as no characters enlisted showed on their armory. The character he targetted had "asdf"-style babble for a name. The two of them stood there in front of a guild vault for a moment, then the level 1 logged off, and so did the level 70.

I searched for this character in the armory, I found he had very suspicious achievements all listed as 14 minutes ago. I'm almost wondering if his toon was server transferred from a dead account, because he had no achievements or activity between November 2009 and 14 minutes ago.

I asked in trade and LFG if anyone knew the level 70 hunter, but nobody seemed to know who he was. He was, unfortunately, unguilded as well...

Anyway, those are the details of what I saw, but my concern is about reporting it. Am I correct in assuming that filing it under "report an issue" is the best path?

Edit: for calendar fail.

I have a Norton and I have never been hacked.

I snap my fingers all the time, and it keeps elephants away, because I've never seen any around here.

You can use Report an Issue or Talk to a GM, actually. Either course of action will allow our staff to initiate a preliminary investigation if anything was amiss.

Thank you for your vigilance!
