Step 1: Count the number of casters in your raid
Step 2: Open Recount
Step 3: Scroll halfway down until you can only see Melee, Hunters, Heals and Tanks
Step 4: Grats on topping the meters melee

There are some numbers out of whack. Once we can isolate the issues that are caused just by bugs, we can make some adjustments. Some melee are too low and some casters are too high.

Note that some issues we're seeing now have been already fixed in the beta, such as the high damage of Searing Pain. Others are level 80 issues that won't be issues at level 85, such as the high Fire mage crit chance propping up Hot Streak so much.

While our balance focus is definitely on level 85, because soon that will be all most of you guys care about as well, we didn't want you to think that we were going to neglect every major issue until that time.

I'm going to lock this particular thread though, since I fear it might become the single thread in which to discuss level 80 balance now that I have responded.
