I'm also interested in whether or not anyone has ever tried to level up a character and then deleted when the character died as their own sort of perma-death for that character.

Any baddie that can force the Gilneans back into the Alliance, draw an isolated cartel of goblins toward the Horde, and bring Thrall to surrender his leadership to Garrosh is pretty hardcore.
