How Easy/Hard is that Class? Rate it!
| by Shaelyn | 22/03/2007 20:34:10 I'm interested in your opinion of the scales of difficulty involved in playing WoW's classes. We've all heard the 'x class is easy-mode' line, but this can often be emotive and unsubstantiated. We've all heard the claims that a class is 'OP' and that a trained monkey could play it well, and so on, but I'm hoping to get a little higher thought happening here, and some deeper responses. To clarify, we're not talking here about PvP/PvE dominance, 1v1 supremacy, Arena peni waggling or whether warlocks eat babies. What I'd like to get at is your own, personal take on which of WoW's classes are easy or difficult to play, perhaps a rated scale if your experience extends across a number of classes, and a basic explanation of why you feel the way you do. So, if we have a player, and a class, and let's assume there's a basic level of acceptable performance occuring -- which class is challenging the player more, to learn and to play, and which class is requiring less? by Nethaera | 22/03/2007 21:14:59 This is really a subjective question. Different people like doing different things so a class that is difficult for one person may be easy for another. Comparing who is the hardest to play based on opinion isn't going to actually get you a concrete answer, but I guess it's fun to ask how people feel. I personally like doing a lot of juggling of abilities and multi-tasking. For some, multi-tasking isn't their bag and a class that requires it would be difficult and not fun for them. |

I care about you all equally. You are all special in your own ways. You are all like shining jewels waiting to be found in the void. I swear! Aside from that though, there is still truth in my statement. Everyone plays differently and has different likes and dislikes as well as styles that affect how well they play a class and whether or not it is easy or difficult for them. While there are inherent difficulties that seem to be built into some classes, it seems a bit short-sighted to say that any one class is harder or easier for all people than others. |
