Ok so I would report spam posts, and they would take forever to be removed if they ever were. Is the report button there just as a joke or to create the illusion that these forums are well moderated? Even things like posts that insult a player in game and in your code of conduct you state that no one is allowed to post things that deframe or cause the game to be uncomfortable for the person being attack, yet on some posts on a few of my 70s I reported that did just that, I still have yet to see action.

Not even things like that, big rule breaking posts. Example...

Saw a post by a level one character and he had some links to porn sites inside of it... so I bookmarked the post after I gave a clear report about this, and as the code of conduct says (yeah I read the whole code of conduct so what) links to pornographic websites or pictures would result in an instant forum ban.

Well anyway I came back to it every few hours the first day, and it was still up and started getting some replies, so people were obviously checking it. First off hours of it still being around is bad... but I came back the next day and it was still up!

Was still available for 3 days!!! I kept checking on it because:
1. Porn links werent bad (hahahah)
2. To see just how crappy these forums are moderated and how the report system is utterly useless

Concerns such as these should be sent to us directly at WoWReportedPost@blizzard.com. We'd never want to give the impression that the few of us are somehow imperfect when it comes to moderating over 200 forums housing tens of thousands of visitors each day.
