Hello, i just returned to WoW the other day and have been having troubles with Latency, It was good a first, but then i noticed my latiency was going up alot. It just kept rising and rising and i was hoping someone could help me cause it takes along time to cast spells and talk. Kk thanks.

I would first suggest restarting the computer, then completely remove the WTF, CACHE, and INTERFACE folders from the World of Warcraft directory (i.e. C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft). You can either delete these folders or move them to your desktop. These folders will be recreated once you launch the game again. Moving them to the desktop makes it easy to replace them if necessary. Once those folders are no longer located in the game directory, try the game again.

If you are using a router, please try temporarily bypassing it by connecting directly to your modem with an Ethernet or USB cable. If that seems to resolve the issue and you have properly configured the device(s), you may need to update the firmware for your modem/router. Please contact the manufacturer for assistance. If you know the make/model of your modem, please check with the manufacturer on whether or not it has an integrated firewall that also needs to be configured.

This may also be caused by a security (firewall) program. Please try removing any previous exceptions/ports and add them again. Please keep in mind that simply disabling them can still cause connection issues. If you have difficulties reconfiguring your security software you should contact the software manufacturer for assistance.

You may need to disable the Blizzard Background Downloader to improve your gameplay performance. Instructions for doing so can be found here:
