Hey blizz, maybe you should test your game.
by Drysc | 06/07/2007 22:28:30![]() World of Warcraft is a Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game, or MMORPG. What this means in laymen terms is that many people player together at the same time in a persistent "world". As the game allows players to congregate and enjoy the game together in what are known as "realms", we attempt to encourage them to interact and participate in group events through careful design and planning. As playing with others is encouraged the general balance and rules of the game and dictated as such to also encourage playing with others. This ultimately means that many aspects of the game such as Player versus Player (PvP) combat, is not balanced or designed around one player versus one other player. Almost everyone at Blizzard takes part in playing World of Warcraft, some of which reach the higher rewards of the game through diligence and patience. Some have recently received a reward from one of the Player versus Player systems (PvP), known as the Arenas. As they fly around on their Armored Nether Drakes the developers of World of Warcraft feel the rush of wind on their face as they ride off into the sunset. |
