im wondering if firewalls/shields stack, ive been having a few problems with certain programs that kinda creep me out. (plus im paranoid) so i was wondering if shields/firewalls/spyware stack on eachother or is it just a certain limit.

right now im running
tread micro (6 months expired)
webroot spy sweeper (just spyware version)
and im now installing CCleaner 2.05.55

should i just go crazy and download like.. 30 shields?
because i have my firewall off, i know its stupid but the damn thing decides the internets to dangerous and blocks any connection.. i swear its trying to make me a hermit!

edit: also does anyone know where i could go to download some free stuff to help speed up my computer? im getting a new one soon but i want this one to last till that day.

and.. how can i block google antics, my godam EXPIRED trend micro pops up that google/antics.(long list of numbers,letters and w/e) is trying to log mah keys and watnot.

edit2: just deleted all my cookies.. is that bad? will like WoW get angry at me and esplode my computer?

Hi Athalon,

They can either coexist peacefully with one another or they may go to war. Just note that they each tend to have a realtime scanner so if you run a few, you'll just slow your system down.
