Is anyone else noticing a trend here? Someone will make a post on the beta forums regarding feral melee dps issues, and then a blue will essentially derail the thread and start talking about how they're determined to make bears just as viable for end game tanking as all the other tanking classes. The most recent thread in which the dps aspect of the feral spec is ignored can be found here:

Why can nothing be said about feral DPS gear? I believe we got one or two posts admitting that feral DPS is far below the level the devs want it to be, but I haven't been able to find anything regarding what they intend to do to change this, because most blue posters simply insist that our tanking is going to be fine and thats the end of it.

You have said in the past that you intend for ferals to be more viable DPS, and you claim that you want to make all classes have more viable raid use with your new non-stacking buff strategy. But I have still seen little indication that feral DPS (not tanking) is still a concern thats being seriously looked into.

I appreciate the amount of blue input and response in the community, and I wish that I could be involved on the beta forums so I could help test and make suggestions. But I cannot, and so all I can do is synthesize the information being given to me by the posters and the blues. And as someone who has a vested interest in the results of feral DPS tuning, I'm frankly worried about what I'm seeing.

Please reassure me. Tell me you're seriously looking into improving cat DPS, and show me how; don't just talk about tanking nonsense and pretend you didn't see my question.
