Hacked AGAIN
by Miahalenge | 15/05/2010 17:21:35![]() I have to appoligize in advance if this post will sound nasty in any way, but at the moment i have the boiling blood debuff. those who come within 11 yards of this post use caution. I am a guild master of 110 members. we are a raiding guild with a very nice vault ( one of the best on the server from what i hear). for the last 4 months, we have seen endless hacks. over a dozen, including my own. In the beginning, recovery time was well.... bad.. 2-4 days average. then blizzard really steped it up. same day responce mostly.. great.! recently, somthing has hapened. perhaps laying off Gnomes for gobblins in preporation for cata... not sure.... but not the turn time is almost a week and im told it could be more.. I run a raid guild.. we make heavy use of our vault. the items if not used in raids are used to cross network professions, to make gold, to pay repairs and buy more items. every time we loose 5 day of vault productivity, we loose a 1000 g a day ( considering cds on professions, items we now need to buy or buy mats for, exct) I understand everyone should be encouraged to get an auth. but its kinda hard for me to follow up with this being i have enough on my plate. 110 conversations or reminders even weekly to get one is simply somthing i dont have time for.. why cant blizz handle the matter of account security more efficently? or atleast react to the problems faster.. the only reason i can see is possibly flooding the market with too much of an item.. but so what!! that might but the gold sellers out of busniess!!! someone, please help me.. any GM's on? interject ur belling of wisdom? or can you help speed up the ticket i have in? we just got items back from the lst back only 2 days ago after being dry all week. now we are loosing another week.. by Aredek | 15/05/2010 17:59:25![]() My apologies for any frustration you've experienced, Miahalenge. What you're asking is perfectly reasonable--why don't we do more to help quicker and give you more resources to help you secure yourself? To be frank, the answer is we are doing our best to do these things as quickly as we possibly can. We have plans in store to help players secure their accounts and prevent compromises, and we are hiring more and more support representatives as soon as possible. Unfortunately, it can take some time to develop new systems and hire new representatives, but rest assured we're doing our best to make the necessary changes to provide our players with the epic level of service they expect to be provided with a Blizzard title. We realize that the current wait times are frustrating, Miahalenge. Regrettably, it will take some time to provide the necessary restorations for you to pick up where you left off. We hope to continue to improve the quality and speed of our service to ensure that next time you require our assistance you see quick turnarounds once again. I know that you are already aware of the existence of the Authenticator, but I wanted to take a moment to bring it up anyway. The Authenticator truly is a great device that will help protect you from nearly every compromise. I strongly encourage you to consider obtaining one as it may help prevent a lot of heartache and frustration. In fact, many guilds will require their members to acquire an Authenticator before they are given access to the guild bank. Thank you for your patience. If you have any questions, please let us know. As I mentioned, there are plans in store to help our customers in a number of different ways, but I'm unable to comment on them directly at this time. Needless to say, these are things that are discussed by the appropriate parties quite often, so be on the lookout for more information in the coming days/weeks/months regarding our future plans.
