Guards outside ZA = lame
by Franky | 25/10/2007 22:50:53![]() Guards are lame period. Guards were lame when people raided hillsbrad. Guards zergs were lame when people raided capitals. Guards in neutral towns are STILL lame. GTFO of gadgetzan, area 52, lights hope chapel, etc. Guards everywhere are lame because of how easily exploitable they are by some classes. This is World of WARcraft. Random world pvp should be promoted, not discouraged. If you don't want it, play on a PVE server, that is what they are there for. I loved PvPing outside back before the expansion, before the honor system, back when it was FUN. Raiding tarren mill on my alliance character, ganking at lights hope, ganking outside SM(*I WAS ALLIANCE*), camping BRM, etc. That was FUN. To add guards to outside ZA is lame, you are making that area contested, THAT is great, and that is all that needs to be done. Adding guards to ZA and SM is also lame lorewise, why would there be guards to protect both factions outside a location that is HOSTILE TO BOTH FACTIONS? I don't even see it being a big gankfest outside ZA. It will not be like the test realm where everyone SPAWNS there and stands there dueling and looking for pugs to run it, Guilds will form their group, head there, and head inside, There may be a handful of people outside every now and then and thats it. It won't need guards. Make the areas near instances contested, that is enough, do not add more guards to this game please! If you do, atleast add them outside all instances and make all instance areas contested to be fair.
