Graphic's Change in last patch?
by Kordio | 19/10/2009 22:48:22![]() It seems since the last patch, the AoE spells for mages, the hail of arrows for hunters, and the D&D spell for DK's, seem to be over graphic'd. Not sure how else to phrase it. Even when I turn all my spell effects off, they still show like they were fully enabled and I'm getting lag from hell when those spells are cast. Was there a change to the graphic's in WoW? running the following... HP PC AMD Phenom 9650 Quad-Core 2.3 GHz 7 gigs RAM 64-bit OS NVidia GeForce 6150SE All my video drivers are up to date. I ran a dxdiag on the 64-bit and everything looked ok. Not sure what else to try. I don't even want to play right now because the graphic's have been so laggy. With a holy priest as my main, when these spells are cast, I lag so bad my spells aren't going off... |
by Datth | 19/10/2009 22:55:43![]() There were no changes but it seems like a bunch of people decided to change their SpellEffectLevel variable for some reason. Addons or manual edit is the only way to change it. That will create some very...interesting...spell visuals. The default level is 9 so maybe type /console spelleffectlevel 9 to see if it'll revert back to normal. Tech Support How did I do? https://www.surveymk.com/s.aspx?sm=lfO7GX4hyFtZ1WJ5pB7JhQ_3d_3d |
