GM or Hacker?
by Almsaoth | 10/09/2008 03:40:55![]() This morning I had my account compromised, but luckily, the hacker did not change the email, so I was about to get it back. I contacted a GM, and managed to get a partial restoration (I understand a full one will be a while). However, what I'm asking about is that my account password was reset shortly after the GM conversation. Is this due to the GM, or due to the hacker? If it's the hacker, I guess I'll have to run another trojan search. Thanks. |

Put in a ticket if you believe the account isn't in control of the original owner. The Game Master staff will be able to investigate. Game Master ♈ In-Game Support Watson here will tell you that I never can resist a touch of the dramatic. |
by Belfaire | 09/09/2008 16:03:51![]() Who put in a ticket? Did they stay online and speak with a Game Master? I'm not talking about the owner of the account, I'm talking about any one of his friends. Game Master ♈ In-Game Support Watson here will tell you that I never can resist a touch of the dramatic. |

At this time there isn't sufficient evidence to suggest that the account is compromised. The account owner will need to contact us. The password on the account hasn't been changed so I'm not sure why he would have issues accessing it.
