Giving warlocks a blink spell: insult to mage
by Broom | 22/04/2008 21:12:36 Giving warlocks a blink spell in the expansion nearly fully negates any advantages mages ever had over warlocks. The mage's escape ability, from melee in particular was one of the few things they do better than warlocks. Warlocks don't need a cast time to do decent damage, mages do. Mages are squishier than warlocks Mages run out of mana faster than warlocks, and have nothing like lifetap/drainlife to help restore it. With the induction of the warlock blink spell, they will also be as good as mages at escaping melee, leaving essentially nothing that mages do better than warlocks. Why even play a mage anymore? |

While thoughts and ideas regarding one class were mentioned, they aren't finalized and no details on the other classes were brought up so people seem to assume they get nothing. I know waiting can be tough, but when we have information on all classes we will be happy to share it with you and then the productive discussions may commence. |
