Give the Arthas Fight some Content!

No, I have never fought Illidan before, however I have seen the entire Nihilum kill video, and the huge lack of content left me disappointed. Here is one of the most major characters in lore, and he is treated as nothing but another boss, except for the one brief moment when Maiev appears. Basically, he was nothing but a more complicated boss. So, Blizzard, this is your chance to make up for it. Let's see some REAL content in the Arthas fight. Sylvanas, Tirion, and Jaina offer great opportunities for epic dialogue between the heroes and the villain. There is another thread that deals with the possibility of the shadows of Arthas' past returning - Muradin Bronzebeard, Uther the Lightbringer, perhaps even Medivh. And a final idea: this is the last chance for you, Blizzard, to make a villain who becomes redeemed. Perhaps, in the end, Arthas could finally overcome the dark influence of Ner'Zhul and somehow separate himself from the Lich King, and sacrifice himself to slay the dark being. by Bornakk | 21/02/2008 22:25:02 There is more to Illidan than just the fight itself. There is the chat with Akama at the start along with the quest series that leads to him. As we have already stated, all players will be interacting with Arthas much more throughout the content in Northrend, so right there I think that that counts as more with Arthas. |

Again, as we have stated multiple times in the past, we know we were too protective of Illidan in The Burning Crusade and that is why we are expanding a great deal on Arthas in Wrath of the Lich King which sounds amazingly similar to what you were asking for. We aim to please. |
