I am nearing my witts end. My wife has recently started pvping to level and I have joined her on occasion using alts. However, we have yet to run into a battleground without at least one botter in it. I do not know the name of the bot, but I know several people who have bragged about botting to level and gear up toons. The irony is that a properly setup bot isn't that bad a teammate but most people don't even have the curtosy to do that, they just get it working well enough to avoid being marked afk.

As a result, we have started reporting all of the bots that we encounter; however, we are limited to one open petition at a time. Is it acceptable to repeatedly edit the ticket to add botters or should we wait for the ticket to close before opening a new one?

It is acceptable, but ultimately, the most efficient method of reporting battleground botters is via the right-click Report AFK feature. Please keep in mind that for this purpose that means or reporting can remain an effective means of reporting even if those characters remove the debuff.
