I submitted my petition. now I'm waiting

1)I was told that the delay is very variable. Actually, I don't mind to wait for a week-that would make a WOW-break (even if I had a critical run scheduled for monday) but is there any way to check how my petition progress ?

2)I had unfortunately like 35 k gold (was preparing for Cata). Will I get it back, or will I lose it ? (Note, I could afford to lose the gold, however)

3)Will I get my gear back ? This point worry me a lot, because I spent an obscene amount of DKP to get a heroic wand around ten minutes before logging

4) Suppose I type at random a password each day, and change it each day. Would this protect me from keylogging attempts ?

Finally, a question. TBH, with the economic crisis, I'm not exactly overloaded with work (I'm a contract worker without any social life), and I'm between two chairs study wise, so I kinda played WOW a LOT over the past months : lots like sometimes five-six hours per day. Will this mark me as a potential gold farmer ?
